Dental Repair Work
General Dentistry includes all the dental repair work that does not involve actual tooth replacement. In most cases, this is restorative dentistry, with the goal of preserving your existing teeth by repairing them, rather than replacing them. Filling cavities, custom-made inlays and onlays, dental crowns, and root canal therapy are all part of restorative dentistry.
Tooth Extractions
Dr. Dorfman also does tooth extractions, which may be needed when teeth are too decayed to be repaired. A tooth may also be extracted in preparation for orthodontics, for tooth replacement, or in the unusual case of a tooth getting in the way of other teeth.
